I would like to find reloading software loads made up from other than normal bullet weights.
I would like to be able to input things like bullet weight, Cal. and barrel and the software would give me powder type and charge, bullet speed and pressure.

Mainly I want to load 40gr 22 cal HP with a 6gr sabot for use in a 308 bolt action model 10 fp.

I think this load should be in the 5000 fps range.

Ever web site only shows data for the 55gr bullet.

I need data before I start working on these loads.

you want to load a 22 cal bullet that measures .224 in a 308 FP that measures .308 so you want to wobble a bullet down the barrel, I don't get it?

frank1947,
It is not going to wobble. He is loading it in a sabot. You know a little plastic thingy that holds the bullet like a wad cup in a shotgun shell or like a sabot loaded in a muzzleloader only using a lot smaller bullet. Nothing new about it. Remington used to load them in factory loadings.

amtdfw,
I wish i could remember where i saw it at but i have seen data for less than 55 grain bullets loaded in a sabot for the 308. Keep looking it is out there and if i run across it again i will post a link.
