which rings and base fit my Savage Model 12 vlp dbm 22-250 and a Leupold Mark v scope? I appreciate any guidance. Looked on Leupold site but they don't list anything for Savage. Thank you.

Look on midwayusa under optics. select base, mounts and adapters for savage. Next select Savage 12 with round receiver. Then you have the options of one piece, two piece sets or mounting systems. The rings will depend on which scope bell dia you have and tube size. Most likely a medium rings will work.

I you are going to use a rail base you can use a low set of rings. If you use Weaver two piece bases you will need a medium height rings .270. If you use a 50-56mm bell scope you need a high set of rings. On the 50mm the high rings will be a little high they are perfect on the 56mm bell. There is nothing between medium and high rings.
