Hi all!

A Savage 110 with s/n F140994 how old is this? and is it a good rifle it's in 30-06

I'm thinking late 70's to early 80's, trying to find information on serial number dating.

Of course it is a good rifle! What did you expect us to say....LOL

Theres a couple people on here that have date books and hopefully they see your post and respond with the info for you.

You see that Savage rifles have very bad reputation here in Sweden, why ? I don't know.
A rifle like Remington or a Winchester in 30-06 10-15 years old cost 3000-4000 kronor but a Savage like that costs 500-1000 kronor??

Do not tell anyone else how good of a gun & accurate it is over there, the price will sky rocket when everyone scrambles to find a savage.
