I am going to load up a few test rounds with H380 in my .22-250 and I am wondering what to expect. So far 33gr of IMR4895 with a 50gr Nosler ballistic tip and a 2.354" OAL has given me 3 shot groups that range from .158" to about .250" at 100 yds. It looks like I will require more H380 to see the same velocity and I am wondering how the performance of the load will change due to the powder taking up more space in the case. Barrel is a 1:14 24".
