Very nice! It looks like you found a factory round that your 116 really likes. With that kind of accuracy and the right dope you should be able to hit a pie plate at 1000 yards consistantly. I'm hoping to find a hunting round that is that accurate for my .308. I tried fusion 150 grain and it was just under an inch at 100 yards, not exactly what I need for 500 yards or further. I did find a factory round though that shoots in the 3's but it's only good for varmint's or paper, it is Federal Gold Medal Match 168 grain. What results have you had with other ammo or is the fusion the first one you tried?

try the federal (308) 150gr power points (blue box) they shoot just as good as fgmm for me and they are CHEAP,I was SHOCKED at how good they shoot(.3-.5) for 5 shoot groups

Thanks.

I've tried remington core lokts and winchester super x but I think I'm shooting a lot better now, its hard to say.

I'm cooking up some loads now.

Was also surprised how well the 165g Federal Fusion shot in 300 WSM's. Consistently shot 1 MOA or better for five shot groups in three different Savage 300WSM's.

I just bought a 116 in .338 win mag. I put a Leupold VXII scope on it in 4-12 X 40mm. I picked up a couple of boxes of Fusion 225 gr. I haven't shot it yet but I sure hope to have similar results.

I emailed them to see what they are using and they said 791 commercial bulk powder and fed 215 primers. Anyone familiar with that?

I could be wrong and this by no means is hard fact enough to use but if memory serves me right, 791 is 4350. Whether that is IMR or Hodgdon I can't remember.
