Anybody own one of these rifles? I am curious to know if the 300 win mag shares the same length (9/16) length bolt lug as the 338 Lapua. Also what is the O.A.L of the bolt bod? I have seen a 338 and it has a standard notched barrel nut. I have heard that some have the smooth nut that savage now uses. Can anyone answer inquiring minds need to know? I would like to do a 300/338 switch barrel project. Thanks
