Have finally acquired a 10fcp-k in .308 after a month of searching. This will be my first target rifle and I am trying to learn everything but need some help. Will be ordering a ss 10x42 scope and don't want to end up with scope to high. Was thinking 1 piece rail and would like good quality. Don't think I need a canted base, 600 yards is the longest range near me. Hoping to spend $150 or less. Also need room for flip up caps.

EGW or Weaver base with Burris XTR low rings. Depending on the base you chose, that should keep you below $100.

EGW. You see them mentioned on this site a lot and for good reason. Quality products and great service. I have their 20 MOA base on my FLCP-K and had great results so far. My $0.02!

Tried the EGW HD. 0 moa. Well made, but too high for my liking. Went with Leupold two piece rings and bases. Lower and working out well. Am selling the EGW.
