I have been searching untill i cant stand it anymore. I cant find any data on indevidual results with a 180gr bullet.

I wanna see what people are getting for velocity and what load they used to get it. I have a 28" barrel and am trying to see what kind of velocity i can expect. Hodgdon reload page shows velocity that seems way low.

Any info will be taken with a grain of salt and used as a guideline.

Thanks

You can take a look at the 7 Win. Short Mag and the .284 Shehane with a 28" barrel and the 180's to get an idea. If you are thinking of say the Berger 180 VLD with a 28 inch barrel and really pushing it you are going to be around 3000 FPS in my estimation.

70 gr Re22 180 gr VLD moly 3.48" 7mmRM 26" barrel 3025 fps average. This load is 2 gr below threshold of long brass life.

I killed 3 deer with this load in 2010.
