So I mixed up some more duracoat and refreshed a savage scout! Not shure that I am gonna keep this one I would hate to unscout it!

Which part did you Duracoat? The barreled action, or the stock? If the stock, how'd ya manage that pattern? ;)

Someone told me the newer Scout models don't have as heavy a barrel as the older ones (a good thing)... is that your impression from handling this one? 'Been thinking about getting one as a kind of brush gun for luggin' around the mountains near here...

duracoated the stock od green then sprayed webbing then clear. This is an older one I dont find it heavy at all good brush/tripod gun
