Converting a Stevens 200 7-08 to a .22-250?

Other than a barrel will I need to change out or modify anything when going from a 7mm-08 to a .22-250? Any issues with the magazine?

This is a Stevens 200 SA with Centerfeed magazine.

You should be good to go. Screw on the barrel, head space and shoot. Can't see where you may have trouble with the magizine.

I just did this swap in a Savage 11. No problems at all.

Barrel wrench and head space gauge and you're good to go. I did this as well and there were no issues other than I had to modify the factory stock to accept a bull barrel. I have not had the time to swap to a different stock yet.

Looks like you have your answers here but I will also say it is nothing more than a barrel. My current .22-250 is built on a Stevens 200 that started as a 7mm08 and it feeds from the magazine fine if I wanted it too. I have a single shot follower installed so the mag doesn't mean much to me.
