looking for a 7.62x39 with a .308 bore

Just thought I would throw out a feeler for a barrel.
I am looking for a 7.62x39 small shank barrel with a .308 bore.
I have talked to a couple of barrel makers and it's not a prob to get one from them (all it takes is money!)but if anyone has one around or any good recommendations I'll listen.

Other than Ruger's Mini-30 in .308, your going to have to order from a barrel maker if you want a .308 bore 7.62X39. Contact Devin, a site sponsor (Sinarms), he does good work and is reasonably priced.

I had one built. Its a small shank savage in a .308 douglass blank. I actually bought a reamer. It was one of those fun guns for 200 and in. Couple that with the 1000 pieces of lapua brass I have and its good. I actually used a Wilson 220 Russian neck sizer die and ran the reamer in it. Now I have a match grade neck sizing die. I have yet to find a good seater, but am working on that.
