i talked my roomate into going hunting with me this year. thinking he would not get anything ::). WAS I WRONG :-[. he shot a nice 3x3 with 3-4" eye guards. 8) i let him use my savage 110 - 243 that i had hand loads for. i normaly use this gun for varmints, but loaded up some 95gr. nosler partions with varger powder. 2 shots and down he went. i had a chance at big one runing with him but a clean miss. took him into the meat locker and he was 125# hanging weight.

Very nice! grats on the deer. Got to love the good Oregon mule deer. Always very large...but taste oh so good. We missed our chance at deer this year...neighbor of my friends relative had upwards of 6 hunters that payed to hunt, scare all the deer out. Dam yuppy Portland hunters.
