280 Rem from 270 Win?

Possible to convert 270 Win to 280 Rem cartridges?

Looks like 280 Rem shoulder is 0.050" longer. OAL for the case is the same.

Anybody else tried this yet?

You would have to size it up to .308 or 8mm etc. then partially neck size it back down to 280 to form a "false shoulder" to headspace on for fire forming.

There is another way also but it isn't quite as reliable in a bolt action.
