Staggered feed magazine change

I have a staggered feed model 10 in .223 I'm changing to a 7mm/08. I managed to get the old magazine box off without destroying it, but I'm having a heck of a time getting the new one on.

Any tips?

Put the rear tab in place....the one near the trigger. Take a flat head screwdriver at about a 45* angle where the front tab meets the mag box. Put the front tab in position and tap the screw driver with a hammer, mallet, etc...

Should pop right in
