This rifle started out as the package set with a 3-9 scope, sporter barrel in 30-06.
Less than $600 total in this gun minus the scope.
I rebuilt the factory stock, rechambered to 25-06 with a new factory heavy barrel. I will find out how it shoots tomorrow.

It's the factory stock. I cut it, and rebuilt it using an AR-15 grip. The foregrip I built using plywood, epoxy with kitty hair and 1/4" aluminum dowel.

It shoots amazing. Right now with 100gr Nosler BT's it's holding about 1/2" groups @ 200 yards. I am going to start experimenting with different loads now and see how tight the grouping will actually get.

Thanks guys, yup it's radical but it sure shoots good!

Well thank you! but honestly I can't take credit for the design. A gentleman named Jerry Teo did an article about a long range savage tactical rifle on a budget. It's where i got the idea. I am starting another one for my 93vs 17hmr. I will take step by step pics and supply tutorial on it so others can try it for themselves.
