Model 11 300WSM

I have an older model 11 in 300 wsm. I won the gun, so I didnt have a choice in the caliber. Only have 40 rounds through it, but am not a big fan of that caliber. Based on what I have, what other calibers can I change it to with minimal amount of parts. I am looking to go to a lower caliber if possible. The rifle is non Accu stock or trigger.

Should be able to do any wsm/wssm or any magnum i.e. 7mm rem mag with only a barrel change.

SO if I was to go to a .243 WSSM, I will be good to go with just a barrel change?

Don't know about whether just a barrel change will work but I do know if you are going to go the .243 WSSM don't even consider a barrel that is not chrome lined. The use up barrels fast. All the Winchester barrels are chrome lined in this cartridge.

Yes just a barrel change is good. All WSM and WSSM cases are based off the same thing. Mine even appears it will feed the wssm from the magazine also.
