What can anybody tell me about this model? My dad and I found one in my Grandfathers shed after he passed on. It appears to be in good working order, some rust. When were these models made? Is it worth removing the rust and restoring? Stock looks like it may have a crack, what do i do to repair? or replace?

Thanks for any assistance you might have!

These guns were made up until 1989. With rust and a cracked stock it is probably in the $100.00 to $150.00 range at best unless it's a 410.

My interest is in restoring it for myself.

For the rust you might try some WD40 and 0000 steel wool. Hard to say on the crack without more info. Some wood glue may be all you need.

Gorilla glue on a piece of dental floss worked into a crack will make a secure mend (if you can get the floss into the crack and if you can clamp it after you work the glue into it).

You will need to watch the piece as the glue dries to wipe off any that foams out (HARD to clean up once it is dry).

My 311 had a hollow plastic stock. I bought the gun for $75.00. It was cracked so I bought a wooden stock from Numrich.
