I need some information on this model. I am looking at one online NIB in 223 and had a few technical questions.
1. Is the twist the standard 1 in 9?
2. What type of magazine does it have? Internal box, hinged floorplate, or dbm?
3. Is the quality on par with other savage rifles?
4. Are they as accurate as most savages?

All help is appreciated

Current production guns are 1 in 9 for .223 and they have an internal centerfeed magazine. They are every bit as good as the synthetic guns. The wood is the only difference. The stock is a bit clubbier than the synthetic, but the wood stock would be easier to shorten for a youth.

I do not think that the 11g model is in current production, although it does have the accutrigger so a fairly recent model I suppose.
