I know centerfeed actions can be made to work in staggerfeed stocks, and staggerfeed actions can be made to work with centerfeed stocks with bedding & perhaps a little mag well inletting....but can one outright change a staggerfeed action w/ mag well to a centerfeed action?

If so, how?

Thanks!

I dont see why not, but I have not tried it on a long action.
I did convert a short action SF to CF and that worked.

The staggerfeed hole in the bottom of the action is in a different location than a centerfeed.

Basically you will need the magazine, follower and tang, mill out for the tang and you may have to massage the mag well opeing in the stock
to get the magazine in position and to sit in the opening properly.

Not sure but you might not be able to run 3.4" COL.

It's basically what I did to make an Edge repeater from a stagger feed action. Take a dremel to the ends of the mag opening until the slots are gone. What you have left is pretty much a centerfeed action.

I posted a few picture a while back showing what I did.
