Savage 116 Action - Large or Small Shank???

I have a rifle based on a Savage 116 Weather Warrior action. It was chambered in 300 Ultra Mag by Savage. I purchased it circa 2001 and it does not have an accutrigger. Does anyone know if this is a large or small shank?

It could be either, what is the shank diameter right in front of the barrel nut?

The barrel was installed without a barrel nut.

Unless you have the old nut then no way to know until you pop the barrel off.

I just found some old records that indicate my rifle has a large shank.
