I've had one of these in 6.5 Creedmoor 'on order' w/ my local Savage dealer for awhile & nobody seems to know when they are actually going to be available to distributors, etc. Anybody got a handle on this? Thanks

The only one I've seen on the shelf is in 308. I found a 111 LRH in 7mm Mag and snatched it up.

I've seen a few listings for the 308 but I really want the 6.5 Creedmoor, does anybody know anyone who has been able to get one?

If the 6.5 creedmoor follows in the footsteps of its brothers, it will be probably another 3-6 months? I remember when it was first publicized in October '09, the guns didn't start showing up with any regularity until fall of '10. The most prevalent ones have been 6.5x284 and .308, with the 300 WSM and other magnums SLOWLY trickling in behind them. I finally got my 7mm Rem Mag around Christmas time. If you're not the patient type, get the 6.5x284 and start shooting--otherwise, pack a lunch and get ready to wait.

First off im new to furum and let me say it looks like a good one.

Second sorry for bringing up an old topic but has the 6.5CM made it to the shelfs yet? I have been looking for one at my local shops but cant find one.
