Good Deal, Bushnell Elite 4200 3X9

Just bought a Bushnell Elite 4200 3-9x40 at Cabelas for $199.99 out the door at the Billings MT store. No sales tax.
Good price on a great scope.
They are priced the same on their website.
I'm not a huge fan of Cabelas sometimes but couldn't pass on this.

I think it's a great scope.

definitely can't beat the price.

that includes places like Optic Plantet, Bear Basin, etc.

Great scope. I have one on a Ruger M77 MKII in 30-06. Low light performance is impressive.

I too just ordered a Bushnell Elite 4200 3-9x40 from Cabellas for $199.

I want to mount it on my new .308 Savage 11FNS (http://www.savagearms.com/firearms/model/11FNS).

Because this rifle has a blind magazine I don't think I want to mount a rail to hinder the access to the top of the bolt-opening.

Any suggestions/recommendations for a good two-piece mount for the Elite 4200 3-9x40?

Bases- Warne or Burris 2pc steel bases.

rings- Burris Signature Zee rings in medium height.

Thats about as solid a setup as you'll find.

Talley's only if you lap the ring, otherwise use the Burris Signature's

picked one up today. currently have nothing to mount it on unless i want to take my bsa off my marlin 22.guess it is a excuse to buy another rifle. :o
