Rust!!!

Was all excited today as my action was supposed to arrive. Well, my grandfather emailed me pictures....rust all over a brand new action!!! So I guess that one is going back and I'll get another one. Guess I'll have to wait another week before it goes to SSS to get trued up.

Where did you get it from that it would be rusty?

Ordered it from Jerry's sports center. Not sure why it is rusty....brand new action.

Give it a scrub with 0000 steel wool and WD-40, and I'll bet the rust will disappear.

Already tried it...no dice....could potentially polish it out....but I imagine we'll end up sending it back and getting a different one.

Send it back then call Jim Briggs at Northlander, He advertises here. He sells actions and 3 screw triggers that can be adjusted to a good hunting rate of pull, say 3 lbs. Great guy to do business with as all here will attest.
