First post. Weeee. Great sight. I have been reading ALOT and still have a few questions. Currently I have a WinM70 300 wm with a BOSS. I have been shooting it for about 17 years but only a couple times a year. One day I am shooting bug hole groups at 100yd and 0.5MOA out to 800yd after tuning the BOSS. The next time I shoot groups open up to 1". It just is not consistent with any combination I load up.

So I am looking to build a custom savage in 300 wm. I am interested in a Shilen barrel, recoil lug and a stainless action from Northland. I would like to have a DBM. What are my options? Can I get a stock that works with the DBM and long action? Thanks.

Heres one we use and sell. It's a Mckree. You can have a 5 round mag or 10 in a long action.

Cool setup. I was hoping for something like a SSS LVT. I really like the laminated stocks. But I might have to take what I can get.

Any other options or am I asking for something that is not realistic?

Looks like CDI might have the answer to a DBM. Does this work with a center feed long action. What would the max col be for their mag?
