I love the Mcmillan A-4 with that flat forend bottom and butt hook. Are there any
examples that resemble its shape with an aluminum bedding block that
will accept the Target action 3-screw set up?

Guess I should explain further. No magazine well at all
and the three screw holes to fit the target action.
The Savage f-class stock cant be the only one set up for that action, right?

I'm told Joel Russo http://russoriflestocks.com/ has a similar stock and this site http://www.whiddengunworks.net/ has an Aluminum bedding block for the Savage Target Action something to think about.

Any centerfeed short action stock will also work if you are willing to eliminate using the middle action screw of the target action. Many say the middle screw dont make a difference anyway. I have done this and the guns have shot the same with either stock.

Thanks fellas-
I appreciate the feedback. These gave me plenty of options
to think about.

These people will make a fine stock for your target action! Browse through their choices! You have to specify "Savage 3 screw Target Action", They are some of the best!

Sure enogh; That Whidden Gun Works has an Aluminum bedding block just for the Savage
Target action, so no mag well and three screws, its not a stock, but it makes a whole
lot of them do-able. Looks very interesting
