my boss has a brand new burris 8-32x50 but he hates the 1/8 clicks and said he'd give it to me for 450 before i buy it i was hoping somebody has experiance with these. i want to use it on a rifle to give f class a go but i dont know about the durability of the burris line ive heard both good and bad

Trust me, once you are shooting at 1000yds, you will apreciate the 1/8 clicks to dial it in. It gets you closer when you are dialing it in for the prevailing wind and have to hold it w/ less "Kentucky Windage". It matters at 1000yds- in fact, everything matters at 1000yds!

the 1/8 clicks are a + in my book he used it for woodchucks out to 300yards on a 22-250

Savageboy is correct BUT!!! with only 39 inches/moa of total adjustment you will almost have to get lucky if you are going to shoot any short range and still shoot 1000 yard. you will most likely either bottom out for up close or run out of adjustment when you go to the 1000 yd setting. The 39 inches of adjustment came straight from burris website and not from any dealers website.

I have one of these scopes and my only complaint is that the hash marks for elevation and windage are hard to read, at least for me. But if you're a rotation or click counter it shouldn't be a problem.

last I knew burris's dot was 1''@100. so 10"@1000. they will change the reticle for a fee.
