Savage 111 .270 Trigger work non accu-trigger

Is there any way to lighten up the trigger pull on a 111XXXX( i have no idea sub model just got it today) .270?
It does not have the accu-trigger.

If it is an older 3 screw adjustable trigger check the FAQ section for a good post showing how to do it. I have done it on 3 rifles and they are down to good hunting pull wgt of about 3 lbs each.

You can also purchase the SSS Competition trigger. I have one and I love it. Mine is currently a bit under 1.5 lbs. It went lighter but I like the 1.5...
