Has anyone used one of these? I would like to see one up close.

Don't have that one, but I have several of their other stocks.

1) don't expect a drop in and go experience - some fitting, a lot of sanding, etc. Takes several hours of work to get it just right.

2) if they don't have it in stock - don't pay any attention to what they quite as a lead time. They will get it to you "someday". Customer service leaves something to be desired to say the least.

If you know you will have to put some elbow grease into it and wait potentially a LONG time to get it, then it is a good product. When they are the best option for something I need, I really try learn to love something they have in stock.

Like Eric said, if you know going in that it will need some work to fit and finish, you won't be surprised. They "have" gotten better over the years.
Ordered up and got one that took 4 months. There was a mistake so I mentioned it to them and got a replacement in 4 weeks. Didn't think it would happen in that short of time but they came through right on time.
The inlet now is about 99%. Much better then some of their earlier stocks.
My last one made #6 (I think) so I've seen them getting better over the years. As far as ready to finish, that's also much better. The price and style selection keeps me coming back. And my most recent one won't be my last. ;)
