evenig gents i just ordered 200 178 gr bthp and 200 208 gr bthp the hornady website says it has the highest bc possible but they dont list the bc :-[ i was hoping some one would know what it is. ive always loved hornady they are a great company to deal with the absolute best cust service ive ever experianced so im hoping my gun likes them (cheaper than berger too)

they said 4 to 6 weeks so i have a bit of a wait

The 208gn HPBT BC is 0.620 per the Hornady 8th ed. manual. The 208gn A-Max is 0.648 FWIW.

The A-Max's are $27.99/50
BTHP's are 31.99/50

Funny how the A-Max's have got to be more expensive to manufacture, yet the new bullet costs a few bucks more. Still, .530 BC is pretty good.

those prices are per 100, not 50

Yeah, sorry about that, brain fart. One of the main reasons I buy Hornady is because of their low prices per 100.

the price is what got my interest got a local store that always beats midway too 25 and 27 for it i got whitehot black powder for 20.75 they are also a family business beikirchs in east rochester ny they have rl-17 for 17.00 a pound as well and its 1/2 a mile down the road
