Savage 14 American Classic 250 Savage

Just picked up a LNIB Savage AC in 250 and cannot wait to try it out. Any scope suggestions or ammo?

I have the exact rifle and its honestly one of my fav rifles to shoot and hunt with. I have Talley Light weight mounts/ rings, Burris scope. It loves the Sierra 100g. Game King bullet and H4895. 34.4gr loaded to 2.50" oal is very accurate and a nice round to shoot. I get like 2940fps w/ that load. My hunting load powder charge starts with a 35.x. Its very accurate and I don't shoot many of them. Its right at 3005fps and kills deer very good.
