will a factory savage ultramag action fit into a 110 action stock.thanks,marty

The only difference I could see when comparing them side by side other than the large shank was they opened up the magazine port to allow for longer cartridge in the mag so am sure they will inter change fred

I was able to fit a RUM action in a B&C DuraMaxx for Savage LA's with no modifications.

there are small and large shank RUM actions, the magazine opening is larger than std LA.

External dimensions are the same, I think that is what you need to know, regardless of shank size.

I did have to dremel a bit in one end of the mag well to fit a wooden stock. think it was mostly 1/6'' deeper
