Good Evening,

I've about had enough of my AccuTrigger locking up and having to reset the pull tension on it. Has anyone tried the Rifle Basix Savage-2 trigger on their LRPV? Do you like it better than the SSS Triger? If so, do you reccomend it, and are they a hastle to install? When the Accu-Trigger is working it's sweet, but I'm losing confidence in it for competition bench rest use. I'd hate to have it lock up in the middle of a shoot.

Thanks in advance for any info, Ken

Hi Ken,
If you do a search you will find many of your questions answered.
Just a few threads from typing in "rifle basix trigger" into the search.

Now after reading all of that you could do a search on "SSS triggers" or "sharp shooters supply triggers" and find more information.
In closing if you want a trigger for "Competition benchrest use" then the SSS evolution is your best choice.

the evolution requires a timed and trued action. with SSS current freeze on new work until there back log is caught up it might be a while

I did not care for it.
IMO even the regular SSS trigger is better than the Rifle Basix Savage-2 trigger but SSS is MIA so who knows.

Good Morning,

Thanks 82boy. I checked out all of the links you provided. Lots of great info, although most of it conflicting. I appreciate your efforts. I think I'll check out the Savage-2 Competition for right now, and then maybe I'll bite the bullet on the evolution when SSS can fit me in. Doesn't sound like a good time to order one from them right now.

Thanks Again, Ken

PS: Next time I have a question, I'll try the search button

Ken, i have a sav2 on one of my target actions and it is 10x better than my accutrigger. i have sss triggers on the other ones and id say they are about equal. Dont really think the sav2 is worth $50 more, but atleast you can order it and have it in a week
