Hi All, I have some questions so I Need your Skills and Expertise!

I have just ordered a Hunter Max 1 in .223.

Does any one have one of these? How do they shoot and what are the best loads for accuracy?

Also what is the best thing for accuracy? Leave it alone or tinker with it..... :o

What is the best Mount for it? EGW?

Thanks in advance
Slimy

I just got one 2 weeks ago, I am just starting to work with sierra 60gr hp and 52gr. SMK both are looking promising. With factory loads it is shooting MOA to sub MOA really like mine

Nice.. there is not a lot that I can't take in NZ with 60Grain Pills so I think I shall start with those...
Anyone have a favourite combo for the 9 Twist Barrel?

1/2 inch or slightly better is about what you can expect out of the gun. of course that depends on your ability. i personally wouldnt mess with the rifle but for sure mess with the loads to find what it likes.

I have this exact rifle and with me behind the trigger it will shoot 3/4 inch groups. My neighbor can shoot it with the same loads and almost make one hole. It shoots way better than it should.
