Bases for Axis 243

Bought my son another Savage this weekend, youth model 243. Can anyone tell me which bases work on this gun?

I'm wondering, will the weaver 1 piece base work on the axis youth 243 ?

Mine came with weaver bases on it, but I found that the receiver was drilled to far apart for me to fight my scope on. I bought a set of Leupold std bases for it, and put the windage adjustable base at the back, with the screw clamps toward the front of the barrel. Gave me lots of room for scope movement. I used std Savage 2pc bases part # 55742
