Glad I looked on this site and received input and advise from those of you who have a 220f. After doing some preliminary shooting with Hornady's, Federal Barnes, Winchesters, and Lightfields (all of which were acceptable by the way----2-2.5") last week, I received my Remmy AccuTips from AbleAmmo.com. Results----1.133" 3 shot group off the lead sled at 100 yards! No misfires, no cycling issues. 100% operational and mission capable, right out of the box!! (Finally ;)) I would love to post some pix, but cannot figure out the picture attachment process.

Thanks guys. Will be taking her out for deer here in NJ over the next few weeks to get some blood on her!

pics must be uploaded to a host site like photobucket first to post. there should be a "lesson" in the FAQ section.

Love my 220F.......Killed three does with mine so far this year. Distances ranged from 20 to 125 yards. All were taken with the 2 3/4" Rem. accutips. Three of my buddies have seen how well mine shoots and they'll all be getting one this spring!

So far nothing but good things to say about mine. Made a shot this year that I would most likely have not taken with my Mossburg.

OK----Now I am stuck. I only have 4 Accu-Tips left and I cannot find them anywhere on-line. Anyone know a shop that has them in stock? 2.75".

Sorry man, I don't know of any place online that has them. I bought four boxes a while back from a local gun shop. I probably over paid for 'em but it was the only place locally that had them in stock.

I just got 10 boxes from midway. I ordered them a few weeks ago on sale on backorder and they came in way before expected in mid February. At 13 bucks a box they were not cheap but not bad considering what I have seen them going for at times. I'm considering it an investment in the future. Or lack there of for the Deer... ;D

Just found 10 boxes in a small shop in Bucks Co. PA. Bought them all. Never know when they will change them or worse yet----discontinue. Also----I like shooting from the same Lot number when using factory ammo.

Tanners is the best! They have everything. I only took 4 boxes.... they have a bunch in stock and Remmy is supposedly pressing a few lots of them in March because they are so popular. Two dozen better last me the next 3 weeks or I am in trouble!!!

Again----thanks for the advice guys.

Tanners is where I bought my 220F. Great "old fashined" gun shop.
