What are your thoughts on Tubbs final finish bore polishing bullets ?
I have mostly hunting rifles with factory barrels, and several a & b barrels.
I normally clean them as I am shooting, I run a patch of shooters choice through every 5 rounds, then a dry patch, and shoot some more, run a patch of shooters choice ect, with a final end of the day cleaning of 2 to 4 shooters choice followed by dry patches, until the "blue" is gone, then a final patch of oil then dry ?
So, cleaning doesn't seem to be an issue.
I really do not have an accuracy issue, if I do my part, they are all 1" at 100 yds.
They claim easier cleaning and improved groups ?
Is this a last case thing to go to if you can't get one to shoot ?
Or, is this more for the prairie doggers who might shoot 1000 rnds in a day/weekend?
What can one expect to gain for the $30.00 or so ?
Thanks

If you want to erode the throat of your barrel out then it is a good idea. My father used them on a model 10 savage in .223 on it eroded the throat 145 thousandths, and yes he followed the directions. It did however make the bore nice and smooth when you ran a patch down the barrel but it still cleaned the same.
