I've been reading a lot of places that guys are using RL-25 with 105's and 107's as it tend to be easier on the throat once the speeds get up around 3K. I found a couple loads online and have a call in to Alliant. I was just curious if anyone here has run this combination. Most say that the starting load for RL-25 should be near book max for RL 22, but I'm not sure I want to start there. Anyone have any experience?

I shot this weekend with my buddy that was shooting his .243 with RL25 and 107's. We were at 600 yards at Malabar Rifle and Pistol Club, shooting prone on F-Class targets. I pulled for him and this was his first time there and he was in the high 180's, wind was stiff on Sunday, 10-15+ mph. I thought he did good. I'll ask him what his load is, then I'll post it here.

180's Nice. I usually shoot F/TR with an LRPV .223 at 500 and a 12BR in .308 at 1000. I have a match (800,900,1000)Thursday and wanted to try F-open with the .243. I've used it a couple times to bang steel out to 1100 but people are saying RL 25 is a little easier on the barrel; figured I's give it a shot :)
