M93 Magazine won't retain rounds

Just purchased a Savage M93 .22 WMR bolt action rimfire. I load the magazine with 4 rounds. I insert the magazine into rifle with the bolt closed. I go to load a round into the chamber by working the bolt. As soon as bolt is in it's far aft position, all 4 rounds spring out of the magazine. Obviously a problem with the magazine. Anyone out there experienced the same and have a resolution? I searched historical posts but couldn't find anything. Thanks in advance for any help on this one.

I had a 93 17hmr mag do the same thing. I bent the feed lips in very very slightly and cured it.
