Does any one have experience with this powder in these 2 cartridges?
I tried it a little with out much succes, but I believe that was due to improper OAL.
Thanks

I have shot it in a 6x47 Lapua.
I could get a ton of speed out of the stuff, it was clean burning, but it just did not preform as well as IMR 4350 in the accuracy department.

Thanks for the reply 82Boy. Must not to many people trying this powder. I would think with a burn rate right between H-4350 & H-4831 it would be good to go. I'll give it another try but with the short barrel life on the 6.5x284 I hate to spend to much time on it.

Heck I don't think a lot of people even know about this powder, because when I mentioned it most people say I have never heard of it. I will say I like it better than reloader 17. Another powder you may want to try is IMR 4007 SSC. I have yet to try it but when I talked to Randy Robinette (BIB bullets) He had very high praises for it.

I dont have those calibers, but I do have a 6.5x55 and use this powder.
So far its the best shooting powder I have tried in this rifle. I have tried H4831, IMR4831, and IMR4350. The H100-V beat them all out. Both in accuracy and burning cleaner.

Same for me with this powder in my 6.5x284. Fast but inconsistent accuracy, I now shoot 47gr of 4830

The burning rate of H-100V Hybrid falls right between 4350 and 4831 and it flows through a powder measure like water.

I tried it in my 260 and never found a load that really impressed me. I haven't given up yet, had great results with it in my 243

When it first came out I bought an 8# jug.....

Souded like a perfect powder for alot of my loading.........

Flows out the measure sooooo well....

Slow burn rate as mentioned....

Just hasn't shown me much in accuracy in several rifles...

I use it for my buddies game rifles....they just want dead deer & elk.... :o

I have shot it quite a bit in my f-class savage 12 it will hold .5 at 100yds at 2850 mild load 46.5gr. 142 sie. 3 shot. took it up to 3020 or so 5shots at 100yds just under inch. Started shooting it because supply of everything else was bought out last year. It holds as tight in my long range 111 in
6-5 284 as 4350 or 4831 but i have not done a lot of work with it yet in this rifle i think I'm having bedding problems. it will shoot 3 shots at .3 to .5
then for no reason same load vertical stings up to an inch and a half. with all three powders. I brought the gun for hunting will see how it holds zero 3shots out of cold barrel on differant days to the range with hunting load 140 berger at 2880 to 2900 fps. I'm not sold on accustock yet. I like the powder mainly for hunting vel. I just started to shoot at longer ranges at 600yds 7 shot stings 10 sets aver. 4.5 inch I cant read wind and mirage any better yet any way. i found out a .5 at 100 don't equal 3 inches at 600 things change out there. Hope to get to some matches this year and get my feet wet, i enjoy the challenge.
