I put a Boyds Classic walnut stock on my Marlin XS7 7mm-08 and it made a world of difference in the way it shoots as well as how it looks and feels. Thinking about doing it to my model 11 204. Any comments?

Boyds only makes stocks for short actions in the old 4.25" action hole spacing. If yours is center feed then its probably 4.4" hole spacing. I've heard they're going too start making stocks with the newer hole spacing but when don't know..

Mine is prior to 2005 and the 4.275" spacing, but thanks.

Most anything is better than the tupperware stocks that come as standard equipment. I've use many Boyds stocks on my rifles. They run the gamit from old military too modern sporting. I like supporting a home town (actually state) industry. Especially like there thumbhole stocks which I've used on Remington 700's and Savages.
