I purchased a 110 short action. It came with a Bell and Carlson stock {solid bottom}and a plastic block follower to make it a single shot rifle. Looking for a company that sells an internal box, spring and follower. Checked the three sponsors' here and couldn't come up with anything. Thanks

Since you don’t have any existing mag box, You’ll need to give a little more info about the action to determine which style magazine is needed, staggerfeed or centerfeed.

Is it a newest model 110 bottom bolt release that is a short action(4.400” action screw spacing), a model 10 short action(4.400” or 4.275” action screw spacing), an older 110 intermediate short action(4.522” action screw spacing)?

model 10 SA, 4.4 spacing with a top bolt release. I believe it is a staggered feed. But not sure. Thanks

A 4.4 spacing will be a centerfeed. Better for you cause it’ll be easier to find what you need.

So you need a centerfeed short action blind magazine and follower.

Next is caliber? What is it or what will it be? That’ll determine which mag box it needs to be(204/223, 243/308, or WSM?).

Then I would post a want ad in our classifieds for exactly what you need and maybe someone has one lying around. Don’t use the general term of “110” cause it throws everything off, although the newer 110 short actions take the same magazines. Just use centerfeed short action for “?” Caliber..

Thank you for your help. Classified won't let me even look at a picture, so I thought I would gleen what info I could from some Savage people.

That’s fine. You need to be a paid member to use the classifieds.

But atleast you know what you need now.

Not sure if Savage will send you one or not.

There is also a small metal L shaped braket that holds and fastens the box magazine to the stock that is needed. Unfortunately that part is near nonexistent.
