Hope its okay to post this. As I have a great dislike for a specific guy on the internet and I would appreciate a vent.

Usually I can stand by and blow trivial shit off. However like all humans somethings things really get my goat. One is people videos showing up in my life every-time I look for "expert" firearm advise, or I need ideas on ways to improve my building, use of firearms, load issues, or shooting all while scanning YouTube videos. (Which by the way YouTube has some really decent stuff much of which I have saved links on my Google account!)

And then theres many others I dislike very much. One on YouTube is called Backfire. Could be I am YouTube ignorant as I know of no way to block such a person or his videos. Maybe one exist??? You know what I mean folks; like a YouTube ignore button similar to blocking mail spam or adding parental control. That way when I search for stuff; like a means to install a Savage Barrel from Criterion or do a search for pro shooters advice form Cortina... Backfire and his Video Headings would never appear in my YouTube sidebar again!

I have a premium account and could not find any block for anything to aid you even with that.
And as we all know, You watch one of anything and the spam you with more!

Every time one of his videos pop up in your feed give it a thumbs down. Eventually they may quit popping up.

When typing in the searchbar, include this: -Backfire

No space between the minus sign and Backfire.

Search Example:

Best Hunting Rifle -Backfire

This also works for most search engines.

Won't help with searches, but on your main YT home/landing page where it lists a bunch of recommended video's for you, if you move your mouse over the text title of the video three dots will appear to the right of the title. If you click on those three dots at the bottom you will have the option to either 1) Not interested or 2) Do Not Recommend This Channel. I use the latter a lot to block channels that keep showing up in my recommendations that I don't have an interest in.

Haha. Nope, but I do go way back to the old days of the interwebs. A time when Web Ferret was the best search engine. In those days you had to filter out everything or your results would be 100 random pages of nothing related to your search.

Thanks Mr Baker!

YOU TOO ARE A "GENIUS"

BTW...I followed your instructions and clicked "Do Not Recommend This Channel"

This is what I got in return:

We won't recommend videos from this channel to you againUndo

Sometimes it's just for humor :)
I remember a youtube series on the 22 Nosler.
"22 Nosler - Part 5 - I give up (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9RPMeQRoR0&pp=ygUJMjIgbm9zbGVy)".

:noidea:

He did do a pretty good job with the M262 ammo clone.

Like all "influencers" some are good, some are bad, but most have at least something that I find interesting.

This video of his I found very interesting and something I've wondered about for a long time with regards to precision/accurate shooting.

If the target is the bullseye, then why are so many not actually hitting it and doing MOA at the same time? To me, that raises the bar significantly. I think all of us can shoot tight groups, but putting all of those shots in the center of the target makes it much harder.

This 14 year old absolutely smokes it!
