Savage 10FP-SR [Archive] - Savage Shooters

Hi guys I'm very, very new to this forum. I was wondering if anyone has any detailed information on the Savage 10FP-SR thats coming out in 2011? To me it looks the same as the past 10FP, just with a threaded muzzle. Is the barrel contour different..etc?

I believe it is the same with just a threaded barrel for a brake or a flash hider.

i believe... available in 308 or 223, 20" barrel with threads for suppressor. the 308 has a 1:10 twist. Accutrigger but no Accustock. i believe it was created to fit the niche the 700Tactical with threads does.

I would hold out and get the 10fp with the 5r barrel. If you want the SR, you can always buy the same barrel from midway. (When in stock)

The SR has a 22" barrel and is already available.
