Went out back in October and shot to 300 yards. I've posted this video around, but just realized I never made it over here to post. I was trying out to 300 yards for gits and shiggles, and had a good time. Been wanting to get some Eley black or other high end match ammo to try out there and see if I could cut the vertical spread in half or better.

It's always a good time when you're dialing 61moa of elevation to hit your target over a 50 yard zero.

Wonder Optics WOTAC 4-14x50. Great internals on the scope, glass is so so, but the internals are solid.

My MkII doesn't like any of the high dollar Eley ammo that much. I've had much better luck with Wolf MT and the other Wolf / SK variants. I've shot a couple of bricks of Tenex through my Mk II BTV and I couldn't get a good group at all. My best group at 50 yards is 5 shots into .111.

I've shot .22's at about 275 yards before and it did really well. It's all about calculating the drop and hoping the wind doesn't blow your bullet around much.

What kind of spotting scope were you using to see your hits with a .22 at 300 yards.

Believe it or not......it was a Barska!

lol, it was the ED model, i'm definately going to save my pennies and pick one up for myself. Unbelievable for a Barska, let alone a $250 spotting scope.

Oh I believe it. Doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg to work well. I have had a couple of barska scopes that worked perfectly. Thanks for the link.

My 275 yard shot was at a target in the middle of a plowed up and dusty field. You could see dust fly very easily with the scope I was using. It was my brother's rifle so I have no idea what scope was on it.

Cool video. I've got a Tasco 6-24x42mm with 75 moa worth of adjustments. It gets a bit dark after 20x but should be fine for seeing 22 holes out to 200 yards. I'll be putting it on my Mark II TR when it gets here.
