Does anyone know what kind of finish is on the 10FCP? I'm guessing its blued but wanted to confirm. what other types of finishes does savage use?

It's some form of duracoat stuff. It's not traditional blueing.

The finish is Parkerized.

Are you sure its Parkerized. My 10fp came with a thick coat of black paint. It was in the threads which required a tap to clean them out. It a pretty tough finish but I don't think it was parkerized. Maybe the bolt was Park'd. It was a thin dark dark grey coating that eventually started to wear off, not like the thicker coating on the action and barrel. I guess you could say it was Parkerized in color?
