Okay, I think I got the photo thing figured out. I bought my grandson his first hunting rifle. He chose a Savage 110 Storm in 30-06. Stainless steel and left handed. I have been training him to shoot since he was 7 years old. I take him to the range regularly. He looks a little sleepy because I pulled him out of the rack early to sight in his gun. He did very, very well and he is stoked. He loves his new Savage. And all of the time I put in with him as a youngster has paid off.

Thanks for humoring a proud old man.

So what’s the update? You can 3rd party host pictures. Try https://imgbb.com/ It’s open source. No signup or email involved. Just upload from your device library then click the photo and choose the BBCode from the menu of links. Press the “copy”, and post it right here in the thread. Sounds more involved than it is. It’s super easy.

Very, very cool! I wish I had HAD a Grandfather who could have taught me. He’ll remember the instruction & this rifle his entire life. Although he may, and likely will go on to other rifles, he’ll always remember & cherish this Savage 110 from his Grandfather, Grandad, Grandpop, Pop-pop, or whatever endearing title befalls you.
