Magazine availability

Does anybody have any insight on the lack of magazine availability going on? Even savages website is out of stock on a lot of stuff. Looking all over and an axis 308 / 243 mag is just not to be had, seems strange.

I picked one up not long ago at a local Fleet supply and it was the new style button.

I think it’s like most things with firearms over last several years. Everything has been out of stock at one point or another. And even when you happen to find things in stock, they cost a fortune. Certainly not like a little golden period of time, just a few years ago, where everything was cheap & plentiful… We produced our own oil: Gas was $2.34/gal, Used Savage 110’s could be found for $250 & reloading supplies were Many and Close Between! Not to mention, the only time where the real-estate was both a Buyers & Sellers Market!
