I have a Savage Stevens Model 94H, single-shot 20 ga. The only choke marking I can find on the barrel appears to be "41V". Can anyone tell me what this marking means? Thank you.

On further examination I see the same "41V" stamped on the receiver as well, so clearly this is not the choke marking. I can find no other markings on the gun other than a "G" and "35" stamped on the bottom of the barrel where it is covered by the receiver when the gun is assembled, and also a "G" and "35" stamped on the inside of the receiver where it is covered by the barrel when the gun is assembled. There is no other serial number or choke marking on the gun. Can anyone shed any light on: (1) what the above markings indicate; and (2) whether there is any way to determine the choke on this gun other than measurement?

My assumption is if the barrel is not stamped it's full. If the 41V is inside an oval circle it would be the inspector stamp (2 digits) and year code. V would be 1968 - more here (https://www.savageshooters.com/showthread.php?62035-Rifles-with-Date-Code-Stamp-(1949-1969)).
