Enjoying working on an old Savage 110 of mine. Had put a .450 Bushmaster barrel on it a few years ago and found the .450 is just too much for this old guy to handle. After working on another of my 110s in .223 I decided to do some upgrades on this one too. Ordered another LA ORYX chassis and will be putting the original heavy .308 24" 1:10 barrel back on. Found a new Rifle Basix trigger in the stash so will be using that. Going to set up for our 200yd and beyond 10 round challenges. Whatta Hobby!

Back to .308. Trigger in the stash was an OEM Savage that was put in a Rifle Basix bag and never got remarked. Now have a Jard on order. Whatta Hobby!

Yep, adding a 10rnd dethatch mag is the way to go! I have a custom-built rig in 308win off of a M11 action, with a Brux M40 barrel contour, I have also ordered 2 Oryx stocks, 1 for my new build and 1 for my 110T SA 6.5 Creedmoor, my brother has a M10T, in 6.5CM and just put an Oryx stock on his rifle and has told me the barrel looks small and the recoil lug swims in that stock, you might want to think about running a heavier barrel and a bigger recoil lug, I think James at NSS told me those stocks are made to fit 1/4'' lug, just my thoughts:cool:

I single load for most of my shooting so mag capacity doesn't matter. Haven't loaded mag lenght in years except for 6.5 Creedmoor. Whatta Hobby!
