Waiting to change scopes and some more trigger work. I have not tested the trigger pull yet. But I believe it to be 7 to 9 pounds. After this hundred rounds I will anneal the brass, case trim and start load development. Most bullets will be berger 105 hy. and 108's, because that's what I have. Powder will be varget, h4350 and staball. Test will be done at 600 or 750 yards. And will probally not chrono anything until I'm done. I will let the target decide. Test will follow Alex Wheelers method. I will find the what the gun likes and repeat it 2 more times to confirm.

I don't like like the Saterlee test unless you repeat 2 more times. I also find that a magneto speed screws with accuracy. And thats what I own. If I had a labradar I would chrono everything. I also like Alex's method at distance. The target doesn't lie.

The reason I like the Labradar, can do the accuracy and vel at the same time.

7 to 9 pounds? or ounces?

I am ready to see your results at longer ranges. Looks like it might be better than the 6 creed.

I agree with Charlie. Honestly, 5lbs is rather heavy for a bolt gun trigger. But 6-9lbs? Good grief! I think yours might have an issue my friend. No reason those triggers shouldn’t be able to get close to around 3lbs.

As of now i have the axis trigger in the 6gt and the accu trigger in the 223. It took me 4 hours the other day to get the accu trigger to work properly in the 223. I had coil bind in the spring not allowing it to fire. I lighten up the spring pressure so Light that every time i tighten down the action to the stock it would fire. Small adjustments made no difference til coil bind. I ended up stretching the spring to work. So many time apart and back to get it right. Not sure on trigger #'s. Not that I care as long as it feels good and doesn't fire on bolt drop or a slight bounce on the butt plate.

The 6gt will be next. I may make a copy of the axis trigger with an adjustable set screw to add or delete spring pressure. The same on the shear side.
